Location

Esporles is a mountain village in the Tramuntana mountains in the west of Mallorca. Esporles is well stocked with local shops and holds a market every Saturday, offering a wide range of local products. The town is just a 20-minute drive from Palma and 10-15 minutes from various shopping centres, the largest supermarkets and a cinema. There is a large Gothic church in Esporles and a small river, spanned by various small bridges, runs through the town.

The most well-known attraction just outside Esporles is the historic estate and museum of La Granja, which is open to visitors and dates back to Roman times, when it was valued for its natural water sources. The village is a good base for those who don't mind driving to explore both Palma and the many mountain villages of the Tramuntana mountain range.
